Founding Member Program

LBG USA launched in the United States with the Founding Member program. The Founding Member program was a focused 12-month skills development program that worked with five corporations, Becton Dickenson, Brown-Forman, Citi, Unilever and PepsiCo Foundation to implement the LBG management and measurement framework. The Founding Members played a central role in the model's evolution as a key management, measurement and reporting tool for corporate contributions programs.

As a result of their participation, the Founding Members have achieved:

• A more complete picture of the real value of their community contributions across the business, including cash, employee time, in-kind and management costs;
• Improved management-decision making with performance measurement techniques that assess impact on the community and the business; and
• A clearer understanding of the external impact of their community programs, as well as the internal benefits that flow from effective corporate community involvement.
